Tuam Community Garden.
The Tuam Community Garden Project has been underway in Parkmore Estate since April thisyear and so far it is making great progress!
Already the first potato plants are emerging, the runner beans are taking off and the onions
are in the ground!Work in the garden takes place every Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:30
under the guidance of experienced organic gardener Jim Cronin. The project will be
continuing over the summer months where participants can get their hands dirty and learn all
about soil care, composting, planting and growing organic vegetables, herbs and flowers in a
relaxed and friendly environment.
The Tuam community Garden Project would like to welcome any new participants, there is
no charge to take part and it is open to young and old or experienced and novice gardeners
from the whole Tuam community. If you would like to get involved in the project or would
